  The Butthole Surfers are an American band founded by Gibby Haynes and Paul Leary in Corpus Christi, Texas in Incorporating elements of hardcore punk, psychedelia, heavy metal, avant-garde and performance art, their live shows also made heavy use of strobe lights, background films (of note, footage of penis reconstruction surgery) and naked dancers.

  Piouhgd (Pronounced "Pee-oh'ed", as in "pissed off") is the most awkward Butthole Surfers album to listen itrumechestnademasvoispirerette.xyzinfo some ways, it's a great showcase of how well the band can seem psychotically noisy in the midst of efficient rhythm and hummable melody; in other ways, it's a little weak in execution of their usual punch of noise-punk and acid psychedelia.

  I've liked everything 'The Surfers' have put out. Maybe I'm not as judgmental as some, but I think this disc is wonderful. I think 'Weird Revolution' might be their best album, it's a maturity thing I guess. But I like 'Rembrandt Pussyhorse' as well. But back to 'piouhgd', tracks 2, 3, 5, & 6 make it worth it on it's own/5(6).

  Revolution Part 1 2. Revolution Part 2 3. Lonesome Bulldog 4. Lonesome Bulldog II 5. The Hurdy Gurdy Man but I remembered I used to have this back in the days of cassette tapes and this was the album that turned me onto the Butthole Surfers in the first place. The cover of Hurdy Gurdy man was the first song I ever heard of theirs - it is /5(6).
