  Nov 28,  · It was good to see the reissue of Giant Sand’s album Chore of Enchantment come out last week. While the album could be described as having an essence of transmigratory rusticity, or something another, you’ll be better served with a listen to “Shiver”.. The reissue comes with a bonus disc of recordings previously known as The Rock Opera Years.

  ‘Chore of Enchantment’ is released with a second disc of recordings from the time which was to be become ‘The Rock Opera Years (Chore Bonus CD)’, with all tracks except ‘Music Arcade’ produced by John Parish. The double vinyl release also features a collection of bonus tracks and includes a download card for all other bonus material.
